Epic Games design director Cliff Bleszinski recently spoke to Eurogamer about why you won't be seeing your friend pull of skill shots next to you while going through the campaign mode of Bulletstorm, the latest game from developer People Can Fly.
For the most part, he cites the reason that it was hard to create an experience that both allowed the players to get drawn into an over-the-top action game with nice scenery and skill shots, while also enjoying playing a game with a friend. In addition, the inability to pull off some of their most fantastical set pieces and time-defying effects were also reasons they decided to remove the gameplay. In the interview, Cliff also goes into a couple of the co-op modes that are available, and why you also won't be seeing a deathmatch mode in the game anytime soon.
