In a press release yesterday, Ubisoft announced that they are developing Assassin's Creed Revelations.
The fourth game in the series, the title will be the final chapter in Ezio's trilogy. Ezio will travel in the footsteps of his mentor Altair, the protagonist of the first game, on a journey of discovery and revelation. Ezio's quest will take him out of Italy and set him in Constantinople. Players will also be able to manipulate Desmond's memories and will hopefully gain insight on his future.
The online multiplayer feature of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood will also return and will be refined and expanded.
The press release also stated that the game will be on displayed at this year's E3.
"Assassin's Creed Revelations includes lots of new features and some significant surprises." said Alexandre Amancio, Creative Director at Ubisoft Montreal. "We can't wait to show our fans what we have in store at E3 this year."
The game is set for a November release.
