The Walking Dead is heading back to consoles and PCs and this time, it's about slaying zombies.

Revealed on IGN today, Activision announced that they are working on a first-person shooter based off The Walking Dead TV series.  The game is being developed by Terminal Reality.

Based off the trailer, the premise of the game will center around Merle and Daryl Dixon as they try to make their way to the city of Atlanta.

The game is scheduled for a 2013 release window for Xbox 360, PC and PS3. Check out the game's website for the teaser trailer.
