Remember last year when Sleeping Dogs' developer, United Front Games, stated that they were making another game in the same universe? Well today, the company has officially revealed it.

Titled Triad Wars, the game will be an open-world adventure filled with the same underground crime world feeling that players experienced in Sleeping Dogs.

"Set in the vibrant city of Hong Kong & Sleeping Dogs universe, Triad Wars is an online open-world action adventure PC game where you rise to power as a criminal kingpin of the Triad underworld." states the developers' website. "Experience the unrivaled combination of fighting, shooting & driving or succeed through strategy via extortion, hacking & money laundering – It’s your city to claim & how you do it is entirely up to you."

"Triad Wars is the flip side of Sleeping Dogs." states Steve Ferreira, Design Director of the game. "It's all about Hong Kong and all about the criminal underworld within Hong Kong."

Players will take on various missions during the Online adventure such as building up their own gang and even invade other people's turf. Players will also be able to choose what criminal activities their organization will undertake such as racketeering, counterfeiting money or smuggling.

A closed beta sign up for Triad Wars is opened now at the game's website. United Front Games have also scheduled a Reddit AMA for September 23rd, 2014 at 12 p.m. PST for anyone that has questions about the upcoming title.
