Silent Hill fans will get more than their fill in early 2012 when 3 different releases hit for the franchise.  Silent Hill HD, originally slated for Fall 2011 will release January 24.  It will include Silent Hill 2 and 3.  Why they didn't include 1, I don't know. My heart bleeds.

Silent Hill Book of Memories will release on the PlayStation Vita, although the launch date for the game is still unannounced. For the first time, the game will feature a multiplayer option for the Silent Hill Franchise, so you can share the horror with someone else.

And Silent Hill Downpour will release for the PS3 and XBox 360 in March. It follows a new protaganist, convicted felon Murphy Pendleton when a bus crash leaves him stranded. Personally, I think he'd probably prefer prison to being stuck in Silent Hill.

Barring any delays, Spring 2012 promises to be interested with the influx of survival horror for the fans out there.  All others; go grab your blankies and your binkies.
