Sony has been flaunting around a teaser image over the past few days and they have finally ripped the lid off of the surprise: a new Ratchet & Clank title.

Officially revealed on the PlayStation Blog, Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will serve as a epilogue to the Future games of the series.The game will be a single-player "story-driven platform adventure". Creative director of Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time, Brian Allgeier, will be leading the development of the game.

One of the new features for this title will be gravity as the game will have gravity-based puzzles, gadgets, as well as Zero-G environments.

The game will release this holiday on the PS3 and PlayStation network for $29.99.
