Sony Online Entertainment has pulled back the curtain to reveal PlanetSide 2; the sequel to the MMO FPS.

Players will choose to join the Terran Republic, New Conglomerate or Vanu Sovereignty in this persistent world as they rage war non-stop to take control of the planet.

The game will have specific combat roles to choose from and a deep skill tree.  Several roles from PlanetSide will also return.

Sony Online Entertainment has already stated that there will be a beta for the game and that more information will be available in the coming months.
