Oh, those monkeys. You can never stop them, you could only hope to contain them. Now it seems like we can't even contain them.
Yesterday, the PlayStation Blog announced that a new Ape Escape title is coming. Titled PlayStation Move Ape Escape, players will once again be tasked with the job of capturing rogue Monkeys. The game is designed exclusively for the PlayStation Move.
This isn't the first time an Ape Escape title has had an exclusive design. A revolutionary game of its time, Ape Escape was the first game to require analog controls to function. If your controller didn't have the thumbsticks, you had to go out and pick up one to play it.
According to the blog post, the game will consist of 15 levels of you capturing monkeys as you pursue Specter, the white-haired monkey who was first to put on the Peak Point Helmet and main antagonist of the series.
The game will also contain an index of the monkeys you catch dubbed the "MonkeyPedia". There will be over 500 monkeys to catch.
PlayStation Move Ape Escape will be available this summer in the US via PlayStation Network.
