Warner Bros. Interactive has officially revealed Mortal Kombat X with trailer that seems to be made of predominately gameplay footage.
"Fueled by next-gen technology," states the announcement on YouTube. "Mortal Kombat X combines unparalleled, cinematic presentation with dynamic gameplay to create an unprecedented Kombat experience."
In the trailer, we see the ever battling Scorpion and Sub-Zero taking on each other in the forest. The two warriors exchange blows with their iconic movesets and also witness the return of the brutal x-ray moves first introduced in the Mortal Kombat reboot. At one point we also witness Sub-Zero freeze a tree branch, pull it off and use it as a quick makeshift weapon. The trailer ends with Scorpion ripping off Sub-Zero's head and pinning it to a tree.
Mortal Kombat X is scheduled to arrive in 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. You can view the trailer here.
