Microsoft has recently announced that they are opening a new game studio in London.

Microsoft today told MCV that they are hiring senior staff to run the studio.

"EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa)  is a key market for us and we continue to cultivate the best talent and focus on growing our business, with this role focused on the continued expansion of our Microsoft Studios business in the region," Microsoft said to MCV.

MCV also speculated that the new studio will be focused on first-party free-to-play and online casual experiences.
