Mario and company are returning once again to the race track. During the Nintendo Direct E3 broadcast, the company revealed the nest installment in their racing series: Mario Kart 8.

The game will still  have the same fast-paced race car action you have grown to love over the years and comes with a brand-new car type: the hover kart. This new kart type will allow racers to defy the laws of gravity as they race on the walls or even on the ceiling.

Mario Kart 8 will be available for the Wii U in Spring 2014.
