Ahoy, ye scallywags and prepare for hornswaggling, grog drinking and plundering a plenty! Disney Interactive has announced that the newest game in the Lego series, "Pirates of the Carribean", will be coming to the 3DS in May of this year.
Taking advantage of the 3DS's Street Pass system, the game will include a "Pirate Duel" mode where passing landlubbers can whip out their systems and duel to the bitter end, earning ranks for their pirate by showing just who can twirl a cutlass better.
It will even have compatibility with the Play Coin system, allowing active gamers to turn in their steps for unlockable characters and other upgrades in the game. Possibly a more fearsome pirate ship, though no word from Sparrow yet on which fleet ship he's planning on hijacking next.
