Well that was pretty quick.
Remember when Epic Games said they would be opening a studio for the developers that were displaced from the 38 Studios and Big Huge Games fiasco? Well, it is already closing it doors.
Announced on Epic Games' website, Tim Sweeney, Founder of Epic Games stated that the studio wasn't a good fit for Epic Games.
"We’re closing Impossible Studios." said Sweeney. " It was a bold initiative and the Impossible folks made a gallant effort, but ultimately it wasn’t working out for Epic."
Sweeney also stated that the employees would be given 3 months of severance pay and the opportunity to form a new company with the Impossible name and logo. With this new development, Infinity Blade: Dungeons' future is now up in the air.
"This means that Infinity Blade: Dungeons is now on hold as we figure out the future of the project." said Sweeney.
