Today during Nintendo's E3 Nintendo Direct broadcast, they introduced a new Pokemon type coming to their next installments in the Pokemon series,

Called Fairy-types, this new Pokemon class will have attacks that will be super effective against a type of Pokemon that use to be nearly indestructible; Dragon-type.

One new Pokemon they showcased was called Sylveon, while other older generation Pokemon like Jigglypuff and Marill will now be classified as one.

Also revealed, both games have been given a release date of October 12 worldwide.
