Donkey Kong will be returning for an adventure on the Wii U.

Titled Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Donkey Kong and his friends will have to save his land from being overrun by Vikings from the North.

The game will play very familiarly to past players of the Donkey Kong Country series and will be the first title in HD and feature 3D dynamic scenes that immerse the player in more cinematic sequences. Also returning to the series will be Dixie Kong who can assist Donkey Kong in levels such as giving him a boost while hovering.

The game will launch in November for the Wii U.
