For those who need a new zombie infested game to whet their appetite for slaughter (Or the living dead. Or Both.), Dead Block from Digital Reality and CandyGun Games released on XBox Live today.

It's a third person shooter set ihn the 50's when everyone's parents were sure that rock and roll was going to ruin the world. Well guess what? They were right! It did! Thanks to those sexy rocking crooners, a zombie apocalypse has been unleased upon the world, and of course, it's up to you to stop it.

Players are promised the ability to fight zombies in interesting and unique ways, such as setting traps, bombs and even blockades to defend against them.  Melee attacks are of course included, as well as guitar attacks.

The game cost 800 Microsoft Points and is single player and co-op.
