The Mass Effect series has been renonwed for its music being dramatic and captivating, but now it can officially be dubbed "cinematic" thanks to its new composer.

In a recent interview with The Quietus, Mansell briefly mentioned that he would be working on the music for the video game.

"I'm doing a video game this year actually."  he said.  "Mass Effect 3."

Mansell has composed acclaimed films such as The Wrestler and most recently Black Swan.

Still no word yet if Jack Wall will return to compose for the game as well.
