Activision has announced they will be releasing a new game add-on for Call of Duty: Black Ops, entitled Escalation.  It will first be available to Xbox LIVE members starting Tuesday May 3rd.  This downloadable content pack will contain 5 all-new maps, consisting of 4 Multiplayer maps, a Zombie experience, and new playable characters.  Multiplayer maps will add diversity thanks to locations like Hotel, where you battle on the rooftop of a Cuban hotel and casino in old Havana, and Zoo, where you traverse an abandoned Soviet Russian Zoo.

No word on how much to expect to pay for the add-on, though when you consider past online releases a good guess would be around $15.
