Here at GamingExcellence, we don't often post news bits about add-ons for music games, largely because we get some almost daily and we imagine that interested readers will be subscribing to their favourite games' newsletters if they care to hear about such things. However, the folks behind Guitar Hero: World Tour have managed to get our attention this time, with one simple word: free.

They've announced that the Bruce Springsteen Track Pack for Guitar Hero World Tour is now available for Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and Wii. It is available for free through February 4th, 2009 and features “Lucky Day” and “Born to Run.” Starting February 5th, 2009, the Bruce Springsteen Track Pack will be available for Xbox 360 for 320 Microsoft Points and on PLAYSTATION 3 for $3.99. The songs will also be available as downloadable singles for Wii for 200 Wii Points.
