For those who enjoy dirty bars, dimly lit streets and damsels in distress calling out for help after witnessing horrifying murders that involve more seedy characters than originally thought (whew!), the creators of L.A. Noire won't disappoint.  Next month, an eBook set in the game's universe is due to be released.

On June 6, a collection of short stories that involves characters and cases in the game will be available for download.  Featuring the work of multiple authors, it will offer another look into the background of the upcoming game (due May 17).

Excerpts are currently available on the Rockstar website, with more to be shared as the game's release date approaches.
