There way be a new co-op Assassin's Creed inbound for the PS4 and Xbox One, but Ubisoft still has an Assassin's Creed tale for last-gen systems.
Today Ubisoft officially unveiled their Assassin's Creed game for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Titled Assassin's Creed: Rogue, the game will be a different sort of tale as it places players in the role of a Templar.
You will play Shay Patrick Corma, a former Assassin who has turned against his order and is now a Templar tasked with hunting his former brothers down.
"After a mission for the Assassin Brotherhood goes terribly wrong, Shay Patrick Cormac leaves the Order, prompting his former brothers to make an attempt on his life." states Anne Lewis, Community Specialist for Ubisoft in the Ubiblog. "Of course, what doesn’t kill you turns you into a hunter. Now Shay is on a path of vengeance, tracking down the Assassins and systematically eliminating them."
The events of Assassin's Creed: Rogue will take place in the 18th century during the Seven Years War and will be closely tied to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Shay will use his ship to travel to the North Atlantic Ocean, the Appalachian River Valley and New York City as he hunts down his former comrades.
Assassin's Creed: Rogue will arrive on Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 11.
