It seems the online retailer is getting into the video game business.

According to TechCrunch, Amazon has acquired the rights to Double Helix Games and all of its current IP. According to the article, the news of the acquisition leaked due to a joint recruiting event between Amazon and Double Helix Games. 

Amazon recently sent this message to multiple outlets:

"Amazon has acquired Double Helix as part of our ongoing commitment to build innovative games for customers."
