Even for an early access / game preview title this game is intensely unstable. It's hard to recommend it as anything other than a quick look at the game via free trials. While there is an intense amount of potential to the game, the engine itself is just far too unstable to be worth shelling out your hard earned money. Read More.
While offering an interesting concept and some genuinely enjoyable gameplay, Skyhill is still trying to find it's internal balance. A few tweeks to the gameplay mechanics and some shaping up of the fighting systems and there's a solidly good game with lots of replay value to be had here. Read More.
Lost Dimension seeks to add a few twists into the strategy RPG genre - defer attacks to team mates, balance powerful abilities with costs to sanity, and ferret out traitors amongst your ranks. Though this preview can't go into what goes on beyond the second floor, what I did experience showed some promise, though time will tell if it can come through in the full product. Read More.
Fairy tales and urban legends aren't really real, are they? Because I don't think anyone told that to the urban legend that's kidnapped and probably mutilated loads of small children in this horror/thriller set in the woods of Norway. Read More.

Not only is Watch Dogs clearly a technical marvel just days before it's release, it also seems to have completely nailed the meta experience and tone of the game. When a small 15 minute demo offers so many ways to tackle objectives, we can only imagine how much freedom players will have in this enormous cyberpunk world when the game is finally unleashed on PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on May 27, 2014. Honestly it’s kind of hard to really talk about TESO since its name is so indicative of what it is – an online version of any other Elder Scrolls game. While it may be set far in the past it controls much like any of the modern games with the one concession of the other players in the world. There have been gameplay tweaks but the whole thing is just so familiar and comfortable to any fan of the series that it just feels like home. Read More.
All of this is captured neatly by the digital edition. It plays smoothly even on fairly weak laptops which helps this games appeal even more by making it portable. While it might lose some of the charms by losing the ability to move your pieces around on your own all of the convenience captured right here really makes it worth owning. Read More.

The first time you play a new game in the Dark Souls series you’re immediately going to feel like you’re in over your head. When Ascaron fell into bankruptcy several years ago following the delayed release of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, fans were left wondering what would become of their many popular franchises. Among them, the wonderful Port Royale and Patrician games were a trading fanatic's dream. Thankfully Kalypso Media picked up both the licenses for these franchises, and formed a relationship with new developer Gaming Minds who acquired much of the talent behind those fantastic games. While I personally really enjoyed the shift in tone and direction that Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell series took with the most recent installment in Conviction, a lot of people lamented the shift away from hardcore stealth mechanics towards an action packed equivalent of a Jason Bourne film starring Sam Fisher. With the mixed reactions, Ubisoft certainly seems to be taking a kitchen sink approach to the latest Splinter Cell title, aiming to please those looking for the careful modern ninja gameplay of the original trilogy with the rollercoaster action of Conviction.
